Hurricane damage from the eyewall destroys North Carolina Marina
NEW BERN, N.C. (Circa) - First light Friday has offered a glimpse into the damage caused from Hurricane Florence moving overland.
The storm made landfall Friday morning.
High winds caused street lights to topple and ripped siding from buildings. Tree limbs broke off, and flood waters covered the streets in Wilmintong, North Carolina.
In New Bern, a marina suffered significant damage. Broken docks can be seen floating in the water.
