HEGINS TOWNSHIP, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY (WOLF) -- UPDATE: Troopers have identified the Ephrata woman who was found stabbed and strangled at a Schuylkill County motorsports park.
They say 53-year-old Terri Lynn Gee was pronounced dead on January 9, 2019.
Gee's death is ruled a homicide due to multiple traumatic injuries.
State Police are still investigating.
ORIGINAL STORY: An Ephrata woman is hospitalized in critical condition after she was found stabbed in Hegins Township Saturday night.
Troopers say the staff of Rausch Creek Trailriders was contacted by the woman's boyfriend camping at the park.
They say he was acting in an "erratic manner."
Staff went to his camp site and found the 53-year-old woman lying in a truck.
The victim reportedly was bleeding heavily and had severe head and neck trauma.
State police say she was flown to Hershey Medical Center.
According to medical staff, the woman had stab wounds and her injuries were consistent with strangulation.
The investigation is ongoing.
