Super blue blood moon at the Hauser Nature Center

Super Blue Blood Moon

A lot of people gathering at the Hauser Nature Center last night in Long Pond to try and catch a glimpse of the super moon.

Each year the nature center does a full moon winter walk. This year was extra special.

There were a lot of clouds but the moon did peak out at times. People also attempted to call for coyotes to see if they could get a response.

Mike Leggiero with Sandcut Outdoors said, "people generally don't go out at night and they don't go out in the middle of winter, This is a way to actually combine both and get them out. Today was a little bit of a special one because it is the super full blue moon. We've got several things going on celestially with the full moon that was a good opportune time."
