State Auditor has action plan to fix "broken" Children and Youth Services
HARRISBURG (WOLF) —
State Auditor General Eugene DePasquale reveals his recommendations to fix what he calls our broken Children and Youth Services.
In his 43-page action plan, DePasquale lays out 28 recommendations.
Some of those include preventing incomplete forms from being submitted to ChildLine and increasing funding for resources to strengthen families and ultimately prevent kids from entering the system.
"While the system might be broken, there are so many dedicated public servants all over Pennsylvania that are fighting every single day to try to make this system better," DePasquale said.
