Roundabout changes coming to Dallas this weekend
If you plan to travel near the Dallas roundabout project anytime soon, you may want to find an alternate route.
Beginning Sunday, all traffic will go down to a single lane, which will cause major traffic issues in the area.
That'll last for about a week as crews work around the clock to get ahead.
"If we're able to do that for about seven days, that alleviates at least four weeks of work trying to control two lanes of traffic. So, we've made that decision to go that route."
Flaggers are also now detouring trucks around the roundabout.
PennDOT now anticipates these changes will allow the project to be completed one year ahead of schedule.
