Rescue crews pull SUV out of icy pond

Divers were called in Wednesday morning after an SUV ended up in an icy private pond.

It happened sometime overnight on Bare Valley Road near Dimock.

Resident Debbie Crisman says she noticed it outside after she woke up and the sun came up. Crews responded around 8a.m.

A tow truck driver says the Lawton man who ended up in the water said he was following deer when he crashed.

Crisman says no one was in the SUV when she first saw it, and crews were trying to locate the driver's address.

Police have not yet released information on the driver. We saw a man reaching into and following the vehicle, but he refused to comment.
