Pike County officials assessing storm damage by air
State Police and EMA officials in Pike County Monday assessing storm damage by air. They're looking for roads affected by the storm.
Many trees and power lines are still down.
Crews are working to clear the debris.
There are many shelters in that area that are still open.
Volunteer workers were handing out food and water Monday night to people that need it.
A Fawn Lake Resident was extremely grateful to firefighters and volunteers for saving his life.
"If it wasn't for this place and the people that run it, I don't know what I would've done. We were at the end of our rope. And they came out of the sky it's unbelievable. The knock on our door was like a Godsend. When I saw them, I relaxed," Anthony Molinaro, a Fawn Lake Resident, said.
