New PA Cyber Charter School opens in Wilkes-Barre
Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School has opened a new location in Wilkes-Barre.
The plan is to make sure no school is more than an hour away from students.
This new location is now the 9th building for the Charter School.
It's believed it'll help nearly 12,000 kids.
"Either of these are great opportunities for students to come together many of them have met 'online' as young people do now through the classes and now they can see each other face to face," CEO of PA Cyber, Brian Hayden, said.
"For social events like a winter blast party, movies nights, pizza parties, STEM workshops and programming," Lauren Dennis said.
PA cyber will host academic support and guidance workshops along with art and social activities.
