Thursday has provided the region with a much needed break from the stormy weather and humidity but unsettled weather returns sooner rather than later. Get the yard work done late tonight as temperatures drop into the mid to high 60s under mostly clear skies; a great night!
Muggy air returns into Friday night as thicker clouds begin to take over NEPA yet again. Most of any active weather should remain south of I-80 but we may still see a few pesky storms move north. The weekend looks just as unsettled, unfortunately. Both Saturday and Sunday has a nasty look to them with normal temperatures in the low 80s but mostly cloudy skies and shower/storm chances to boot.
A bit of silver lining, these storm chances ahead don't have the soaking look NEPA has gone through for the past few weeks. We may still see some localized flash flooding but the widespread flooding seems highly unlikely at this point.
