Mike Linden's Forecast | Staying warm (and somewhat muggy) through the week
Following a brutally hot and humid Monday, the low 80s has been a welcome change.
We'll continue Tuesday with fantastic conditions through the evening under partly cloudy skies. With temperatures in the mid 50s it's once again looking like a nice night to crack the windows open.
Humidity and the chance for scattered showers/storms returns Wednesday as Gulf of Mexico air travels northward. While not as brutally humid as Monday, the upper 70s may feel more like the 80s with the added moisture in the air.
The first day of Summer (Thursday) looks EXCELLENT under mostly sunny skies and the low 80s; pretty much normal this time of year.
The next shot at storms looks to be this weekend both Saturday and Sunday in the low 80s, upper 70s.
If you're heading outdoors don't forget the sunscreen and a water bottle!
