A few scattered storms have been the only pesky aspect of the weather this week as sunshine continues to dominate the Commonwealth. High pressure to the north is keeping the northeast dry, and somewhat normal temperature-wise (mid to low 80s for daytime highs).
If you've been missing the thunderstorms you won't have to wait very long for them to return as the pattern flips later this weekend. By Saturday evening, warm/wet air from the Gulf of Mexico returns and will likely trigger near daily storm chances into the work week next week. If you plan on getting yard work done or being outdoors, Saturday evening into Sunday morning is looking like our best shot at the return of wet weather.
Otherwise...it's warmer than normal temperatures and sunshine through Thursday and Friday.
