ASHLEY, LUZERNE COUNTY (WOLF) — A woman in Ashley Borough who crawled out of a window and onto a roof to run from police last month is now facing more charges.
Bethann Ritter, 26, was being served a failure to appear warrant out of Monroe County when she fled from officers at her home on South Main Street.
Police say Ritter forced her way into her neighbor's bedroom and ran out of the front door.
She was later taken into custody and jailed at the Monroe County Correctional Facility.
According to officials, Ritter was released Tuesday and is charged with flight to avoid apprehension, criminal trespassing, and possession of paraphernalia.
She is lodged at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility on $25,000 cash bail.
