Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals take the field for charity
WILKES-BARRE (WOLF) -- The Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce kicked off their 3rd annual Young Professionals kickball tournament at Kirby Park.
About 120 people took to the fields Thursday from their Young Professionals group.
The sold-out event brought in 12 teams, made up of local business members.
All proceeds from the tournament go to the YMCA children's programs.
"This is something that when we started, it started very small. To see it this year, we're sold out. We hope we keep getting bigger and better every single year. We might have to look for a bigger space," said Chamber Vice President Lindsay Bezick.
Last year they were able to send 13 kids to a full week of camp, and this year they're hoping for even more.
