SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA CO, (WOLF) — The Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce hosted its 154th annual dinner on Wednesday.
The Annual Dinner celebrates the accomplishments of The Chamber’s past fiscal year. This year, Harold Ford Jr., a former U.S. Congressman and PNC Vice President was at the dinner as a Keynote speaker.
He spoke with FOX56 at the event saying:
What I’m looking forward to tonight is hearing from the dean of the medical school and to share some remarks about where I think the market is. Where we’re going and how some of the politics may intersect with it.
Bob Durkin, President of the Greater Scranton Chamber of Commerce, also spoke with us:
We wanna dive deep on some issues with Congressman Ford, specifically as it applies to the current economic circumstances. I think people will leave here having a great time. Hopefully make some new business contacts. And leave better understanding the economy.
