East Stroudsburg man pleads guilty to drug, sex trafficking charges
A 29-year-old man pleaded guilty Monday to drug and prostitution charges.
Jamiell Sims, of East Stroudsburg, told authorities that he is a member of the Black P-Stones, a street gang that engaged in drug and sex trafficking in the Stroudsburg area, according to U.S. Attorney David Freed.
Freed announced that Sims admitted to participating in a sex trafficking conspiracy that threatened and forced women to engage in prostitution in Monroe County between 2011 and 2014. The women would then be compensated with illegal drugs after prostituting.
At least four women were victims of this act by Sims.
The U.S. Attorney of the Middle District of PA says Sims also pleaded guilty to distributing heroin on four occasions in the Monroe County area during September 2016 to October 2016.
His sentencing will be scheduled at a later date.
