Southern Columbia is about to face there toughest three game stretch this season starting this week with Danville, then Central Columbia and Selinsgrove. Combined these team are 19-2.

Southern head Jim Roth said "Sometimes when you get games like this and opponents that are having strong years because it really takes the motivation out of the picture because the games just take care of themselves really just with the nature of who they are and what kind of year they are having."

The number one ranked AA team in the state is averaging over 40 points per game with an explosive offensive that can run the ball for over 3oo yards per game.

tigers Quarterback Stone Hollenbach added "I mean our offense has been playing very well but I think we can play even better then what we have been and like I said it is kind of crazy to say that but we have the type of athletes that can play anywhere offensively."

Danville has kept pace with Southern Columbia winning 6 game in 7 tries. The ironmen though still feel they have not played a full and complete 48 minute.

Danville head coach Jim Keiser said "not really no, I don’t think we have played real well at all . we have not gotten any consistency with our offense yet , defensively we have been playing pretty well, offensively we haven’t."

Jared Mowery, Danville Linemen added " last week in warm-ups we were a little sluggish, we came out 21-0 and then we kind of took our foot off the gas, we still got the job done, . we come out a little sluggish like we tend to do but we need to fix that."

To fix the offense Danville will have to rely on freshman quarterback Kayden riley…The brother of injured starter Riley…

Keiser added " he throw the ball real well, he doesn’t have the skill set running the football like Peyton did but KJ has a heck of an arm and makes real good decisions. We don’t lose a whole lot there but we lose that running threat."
