SCOTT TOWNSHIP, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WOLF-TV) —
UPDATE: The Lackawanna County coroner says 45-year-old Benjamin Gaillard and a 10-year-old boy, both from Quebec, Canada, were killed in Wednesday's crash.
Officials say Gaillard, the 10-year-old boy, and two other passengers were stopped in traffic on I-81 northbound around 4:30 p.m. for an unrelated crash.
That's when police say a tractor trailer didn't stop in time and struck the back of Gaillard's car.

The two passengers, along with the tractor trailer driver rear-ended, were taken to an area hospital.
