Barnes & Noble opens 'pop up' shop after June tornado
That's the message the Wilkes-Barre Township Barnes & Noble had for loyal customers Thursday morning.
The popular bookstore was one of many businesses that could not reopen immediately, after June's EF3 tornado.
Wednesday, the store opened a pop up shop at the East End Center in Wilkes-Barre.
"It's been a lot of turmoil. Obviously when it hit, the customers were concerned, our booksellers were concerned. The outpouring from the community was astounding," manager, Larry Fama, said.
The temporary location will be open until the regular location reopens in January, according to Fama.
