Scranton (WOLF) — The Everhart Museum in Scranton kicked off the spring season with their Art in Bloom exhibit.
"It’s a bit of a process we actually work with the designers and collaborate on making choices on what art works will work best for them and then they have the freedom to openly and creatively interpret the pieces of art work that they choose," said Stefanie Colarusso, Director of Programs and events at the Everhart Museum.
Brightly colored floral arrangements were designed to compliment art pieces in the gallary.
This was the museums first event since the start of the pandemic. Everhart is excited to welcome back guests through it's doors while maintain social distancing and other state guidelines.
“Art in Bloom” was created by Lorriane M. Pitts, a volunteer at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts. Now, Art in Bloom juxtaposes flowers with works of art at Museums across the country.
