All aboard the Pocono Winter Wonderland Express

Honesdale, Wayne Co. — The Stourbridge Line held their first ride for the yearly Pocono Winter Wonderland Express in Honesdale

The hour and a half train ride goes to Hawley and back along the Lackawaxen river.

These are the last rides before the train takes the season off for maintenance.

They recommend this trip to anyone of all ages.

“There’s still a lot of snow out there, the woods are beautiful, parts of the river are starting to freeze ups, so you get that nice little effect of the ice on the riverbanks and it’s just a gorgeous ride," said Timothy Sloan, the Onboard Conductor.

There will be 6 more rides with the last two this Friday.
