SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WOLF) -- Troopers found 55 marijuana plants growing at a woman's home who fled from state police earlier in the day on Tuesday.
Authorities say 54-year-old Renee Raman, of East Stroudsburg, was pulled over for an expired inspection on Pasture Lane around 4:15 p.m.
Raman reportedly told troopers she "didn't have time this" and drove away almost hitting the trooper with her car door, according to court documents.
Officials later went to her home and saw marijuana plants growing on her property.
State police say several items of paraphernalia, glass jars, several plastic bags, and a grow box hydration system were also found.
Raman is facing drug manufacture and fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer charges.
Court documents show her currently behind bars at the Monroe County Correctional Facility, unable to pay $50,000 set bail.
