Suspect sought in Wal-Mart theft

Suspect is a white female with blonde hair, a pink shirt, gray sweater and jeans

The Pennsylvania State Police, Troop-P Tunkhannock Station is asking for your help, The police are investigating a theft that occurred at the Tunkhannock Walmart store located along State Route 29 in Eaton Township, Wyoming County.

This incident happened on Friday, December 1st, 2017 at about 4:17pm. A young woman accidentally dropped her wallet on the floor of the store after purchasing some items. Shortly thereafter a middle-aged white female with blonde hair, a pink shirt, gray sweater and jeans picked up the wallet and continued shopping in the store. The suspect then left the store without turning in the wallet to anyone there or any local police departments. She was driving a newer, gray Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The woman lost approximately $150 dollars and other assorted items in this theft. Any information that leads to the identification of the suspect is greatly appreciated. Please contact the PA State Police, Troop-P Tunkhannock Station at 570-836-2141.
