School threats close Central York for third consecutive day

Central York schools are closed Friday for the third day in a row.

The district has shut down the school district following threats to the schools.

Police are going door to door to figure out if its a student or adult making them.

The first threat came Monday.

Then the next day, to the middle and elementary buildings.

"Even when school does resume there's still going to be that horrible feeling in our systems of whether our students are safe. It's an awful feeling. I have to leave it up to my children to decide whether or not they want to go back to school and whether they feel safe going back," Linda Veras-Lopez, a Central York School District Parent, said.

Police say they're also getting help from the feds.
