Missing elderly man found

HAZLE TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY (WOLF) --

UPDATE: State police say Charles Zunski has been found. Family members tell FOX56 he got lost on his way to the supermarket and was found in Baltimore slightly confused and hungry, but okay. They thank everyone for their support and help with the search.


ORIGINAL STORY: Police are looking for a missing elderly man in Hazle Township.

His name is Charles Zunski and he's 84 years old. Family members contacted troopers because they were worried about him.

Police say Zunski left home around noon, and was last seen around 3 p.m. at a supermarket in the Hazleton area.

He was driving a 2016 black Ford Escape SUV with license plate JYP 1508.

Police say he was wearing a black baseball hat, and a blue jacket with an emblem of the White House on the chest. He also uses a cane.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call PSP Hazleton.
