Mike Linden's Forecast | Temperatures surge into the second half of the work week
Mid-February has (so far) been excellent with mostly sunny skies and normal temperatures in the mid to high 30s. Outside of a light breeze we won't see much into the evening and into Valentine's Day.
Wet weather returns to NEPA into the evening of Valentine's Day but nothing heavy. If you're heading out for dinner with your sweetheart toss an umbrella in the backseat just in case. The wet weather looks likely to stick around through Thursday under overcast skies but the moisture will boost the temperatures a bit (into the mid 50s) thanks to southerly flowing winds.
Light rain showers look likely to hang around just a bit into Friday but don't have a widespread nor heavy look to them. We should likely see a clearing into Friday evening and into Saturday. The only knock on this will be the temperatures swinging back the other direction into the mid 30s by the weekend.
Our next shot at active weather looks to be Sunday and into Monday with another round of rain. As of now, Winter looks to continue a hiatus from the snow...for now.
