Mike Linden's Forecast | Sunny, calm end to February leads to ugly, wet start to March
With only a couple of days left in February the start to Spring inches closer in NEPA (21 days to be precise).
The last few days of February look to be much different from the topsy-turvy days we've seen so far this month. We'll see temperatures drop below freezing tonight with light winds. We recover incredibly well into Tuesday with sunny skies and mild temperatures in the mid to low 50s; truly excellent conditions. Tuesday looks to be an excellent day (and night) throughout.
Wednesday (the final day of February) is when conditions change.
Warm, moist air from the Gulf of Mexico begins to surge northward into Wednesday night as a cold front moves in from the west. This will trigger a pretty soggy Thursday and Friday as temperatures slip back into the low 40s under overcast skies.
The start to March looks pretty active but lacks the chance for snow...for now.
