Mike Linden's Forecast | Strong/severe storms arrive overnight
The weekend is almost here but we still have a few rounds of active weather to get through first.
A cold front from the west will push in a line of rain and thunderstorms. With pockets of sunshine late in the afternoon, some of these storms could become strong or possibly even severe. The main threat from these storms will be strong, possibly damaging winds.
As to the timing of these storms, most will arrive late this evening and into the early morning hours of Friday. Most people will likely be asleep when the front passes over.
Friday looks to feature leftover rain through the morning but conditions greatly improve into the afternoon under partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the low 70s.
Conditions for the Blue/White game on Saturday look OK under partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures in the upper 50s. The rain returns (again) into Saturday night and will stick around through Sunday morning.
