Illegal Gambing Devices Seized in 3 Local Counties
Dozens of unauthorized electronic gaming machines and more than $400,000 were seized at licensed liquor establishments and other locations in Lackawanna, Luzerne, and Wyoming Counties.
The Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement executed the search.
It was all part of an ongoing investigation into illegal gambling.
Electronic gambling devices remain illegal in PA, other than in statutorily approved locations granted licensure by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
So far in 2017, Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement officers have seized over 400 electronic gambling devices
