Crews brave cold weather to fix water main break in Kingston
KINGSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WOLF-TV) —
Crews with Pennsylvania American Water braved the cold weather to fix a water main break in Luzerne County.
It happened a little before 2:00 Thursday afternoon on Butler Street in Kingston.
Crews completed those repairs early in the evening.
A company spokesperson tells us water service is in the process of being restored.
The road was shut down between Hamilton Avenue and North Gates Avenue while crews made the repairs.
Aittle more than a dozen homes were affected.
It's unclear what caused it, but we're told it's possibly related to the cold weather.
