The Volpe Report with Mike Turzai
Pennsylvania went red in the 2016 presidential election and, to date, there are four announced candidates for the Republican nomination of governor in the May primary election.
The Volpe Report returned for its eighth season on Sunday, January 28th at 11:30 a.m. on FOX56 with Mike Turzai, speaker of the state house of representatives, one of the four declared candidates who is seeking the G.O.P. nod to face an as yet unopposed incumbent Democrat governor Tom Wolf.
Turzai, who currently represents the 28th Legislative District in Southwest Pennsylvania, and is known to be a fiscal conservative said he believes the key issues in the campaign are going to be jobs and holding the line on taxes. He refers to Wolf as a tax and spend governor who wanted to "increase taxes on working families." He is also critical of the fact that Governor Wolf has not signed one budget in his more than three years in office. Tune in as he lays out his vision for Pennsylvania in what is expected to be one of the closest watched races in the Mid Term Elections.
